The Vineyards – Salta.

General Vintage Report.

This year the winter was harsh and windy, with minimum temperatures of -6ºC (21ºF). The spring started with very low temperatures, which deferred sprouting until the first days in October, causing a fifteen-day delay.
October and November had normal temperatures, which ensured good flowering and fruit formation. Rainfall started in December and there was some rainfall in January-February, which complicated the health of early white grapes. White varieties expressed their typicality with the help of leading-edge winemaking technology. Red varieties were favored by a dry end of summer that ensured excellent polyphenol and aromatic maturity.
